This is me like one or two years ago.
I am living a way better life than my mom did at 43, and that is because is amazing, supportive, and did her damnedest. A lot of my friends are not living better than their parents, and have strained relationships. I think Millennials and Gen Z can do better for gen Alpha and so-on.
Side note: This is precisely how my mom raised me. IT was hard, she was a single mother, neither my sister nor I moved out at 18. We actually bought a house around my 18th birthday, and we all worked to finance it. My mom still encourages me, and I'm 43 fucking years old.
I'm trying so hard, but probably no. One thing that we can do for them is give them more love and support than we had. My kids aren't being pressured out the door at 18, I Tell them I love them multiple times a day, and encourage them way more than I admonish them.
