Not crystals but seaglass hunting. At low tide it is a relaxing hike along sandy beaches, red clay slabs or smooth moss cover rocks with periwinkles clinging in abundance.
So much crocheting 🧶 Does walking my dog counts as hiking? My new passion I acquired since my 71st birthday in July, is hiking up to the very top of lighthouses. Living on an island on the Atlantic Ocean makes this an easy quest. Three down, hope to get a couple more climbed before the season ends.

I think I heard at the time it was a massive tire fire in Quebec.
My son & friends were camping in our yard. The sky, well actually everything, had an eerie orange shade. My son stuck his head out and asked me “Is it the end of the world?” All I could answer him was “I don’t know.” I found out later that the cause was a massive tire fire in either NB or Quebec.
We got a new 2025 RAV 4 last month that has this. It annoys my husband but I find it barely noticeable after the first week driving it. Thanks for educating me about why it does this. Good to know.

This is what I found (editing out the answer). In British English, '******' is the noun for __________________, while '*****' is the verb. In American English, '*****' is the preferred spelling for both the noun and the verb.

Actually I was given some watermelon seeds from a local friend who grew in last year. I planted them in my raised bed and they are doing really well. They won’t be huge like the US variety but our unusually long heat wave probably helped and I’ve kept them well watered in my backyard garden in PEI.
