Moxy was adopted and is deeply loved by his previous parents and current adopted parents who were able to meet his needs better. He his a very special cat that deserves no less. I am a bit obsessed with him and love him very much. His mom and dad take great care of him. His dad posts great videos

The cake this year’s illustrations reference was based on. Fishing has been taken on as a high high interest in this house. I think it’s in his genes. His uncle had a video posted of him last weekend on Tik tok with his king salmon catch that’s apparently at 2 million views. Way to go uncle Mike.

That’s for me :) yeah that’s how I was with shut downs. Then eventually explosions after years of masking. Now just more recognizing and learning to be uncomfortable and ride the uncomfortableness. Also turned back to my artwork/writing. All has helped. I think not suppressing the adhd has helped

I’m pretty sure if my neighbours saw my account they would be like yep. Confirmed, I knew it. Beeping bird lady. And then wonder why I’m naming their tree and writing about it and have sketches of it, a WIP pb and litterally love it (I really do 😆) and I will cry if anything happens to it.
I can’t imagine anything you would say bad but sometimes people take things weird or sometimes people don’t like to be talked about or observed. And I’m definitely an observer. But also I don’t want to be observed lol.
I feel that. My kids see social media and society so much more casually than anything I could ever dare to imagine. To me seeing someone IRL from online is two very different worlds and makes my anxiety go very high but I wish I could be chill like them about it.
I’ve learned i do know why but it’s the years of masking and people telling you your feelings and what you say is wrong so you misjudge what you think or mix up sensory (ctpsd stuff)
I have both adhd & autism & the overlaps are very similar but also I don’t know where one begins and one ends. For me a lot of my sensory meltdowns are internal until not but I’m learning to know my triggers more. I find with me being autistic, not knowing what I was feeling was a big thing

Biologic Infusion today that I get for Autoimmune Inflammatory Arthritis. I have Inflammatory Arthritis in my spine & all my peripheral joints. It’s a really expensive Medication. It was switched to a biosimilar last infusion because it’s cheaper- that’s okay, it’s free. I did react last time so 🤞

Sorry to read that Meghan. I’ve gone down the long road of autoimmune illnesses and medications. Some days are easier than others and medications trials can be so difficult to getting to the one that works. I hope you find some relief soon.
Honestly I sometimes wish I could tune it out. It’s all I hear. I take it all in the music when it’s on. But my brain is always singing on the inside no matter what it looks like on the outside lol 😂

Honestly not that you need affirmation but my favourite gift last Christmas was from my cousin who made jarred preserves for us. One it was delicious and two the thought, time, love and prep that went into it was beautiful.

Exactly! Just an inchworm which is the caterpillar like larvae stage of a moth. Not sure what type that one is though. I remember those ones like that as a kid in Toronto. My friend and I would collect them from the trees on our walks. Ours seem to be more bright green and a bit smaller here PNW.
There’s a lot of ignorant people who just continue to not get it. I’m baffled I continue to have these conversations with people I know. I’m 42, a xenial, geriatric millenial and I think Gen x is about 50:50 how they respond & anything above that I just hope for the best heading into conversations

I’m very thankful I got Covid after I had many rounds of a vaccine because I’m immunocompromised. I was one of the first ones offered a vaccine in our province and I had 5 rounds before I got the virus but I know that it still affected me. I’m just greatful I lived unlike my step granddad who died
