I am running away now to play wordle, pips, sudoku etc with my wife in bed before we go to sleep. Even though I do plenty of cooking for our household and make a mean carne asada tacos I am leaving before I do anymore damage with my improvised recipes and will leave it to the professionals.

I wanna say we melt butter chop chicken breasts, take corn flakes, grated parmesean cheese, and powdered ranch seasoning. Crush the cornflakes in a gallon ziplock, add parmesean and ranch. Dip raw chicken in the melted liquid butter then put them in the ziplock mix until coated put on a baking sheet

At the very least you get the premise and can improvise to taste or technique. Boiled seems right memory wise but odd to me now I would probably season them and fry them in a pan. Maybe that would make it too dry.
Amra_the_Lion (@nlogan77.bsky.social) reply parent
Maybe we boiled the chicken breasts and chopped them up to put in the pan. I'm getting scared now like I should consult the boss. If I did she would probably say it was an ancient family secret and how dare I spread it on the interweb. I just remember it being so so but edible. At your own risk.

That time I corrected X-Men editor Tom Brevoort about the basic Wolverine fact of when we learned he was a mutant for his article on "When Was Wolverine Wolverine?" His view on AI is as lazy as his research. Real art and creativity takes effort and time. AI art is lazy and steals from real artists.

The parents question their child's abilities or, at the very least, people's perceptions of their kid's abilities. But the norms of society dictate a polite response to gift giving. They smile while questioning everything. Be careful in your machiavellian scheming because it can create villains.
Amra_the_Lion (@nlogan77.bsky.social) reply parent
All with the added bonus of the implied suggestion that the child lacks the fine motor skills to use normal sized crayons and must use gross dexterity with the jumbo ones. The parents are galled by the insults, the child is distraught and perplexed, and they have to thank you for your kindness.
Amra_the_Lion (@nlogan77.bsky.social) reply parent
If the kid has brains and realizes that he shouldn't color the main characters because they are white you create your original intention of uselessness but add internal stryfe because the crayons become as useless as the book and he wants to use them to fulfill their purpose but is torn.
Amra_the_Lion (@nlogan77.bsky.social) reply parent
Give them the book and these Jumbo crayons. Too large to stay in the lines. Absolves you of culpability while seeming to be nice. Punishes the source, the parents, and creates a dissonance when the kid colors all of Dalmatians multi-colored. Parents uneasy and discomfited but unable to say why.

I still have never seen them at Target. I picked up a few at FYE in the mall and the rest at Walmart. They are always several waves behind with peg warmers making me worry they won't order new waves until the old stock is sold, missing the newest waves altogether.

No, my brother and I stubbornly searched for them. I hate exclusives. Conventions, Target, Walmart all have them. Also hate when a company has a product that the public would just throw money at them that hits multiple collector niches like nostalgia, monster kids, Halloween, and you can't find them
Amra_the_Lion (@nlogan77.bsky.social) reply parent
