Our newest Border Collie adoptee lived on the street most of her life, and now she only sleeps behind couches that are pressed up against the wall... it's how she feels safe during the night. Yesterday we bought a small sofa, and she immediately claimed the cave behind it.

Good for anyone who does regular cancer screenings! But know that Coliguard only detects ~60% of tumors and 0% of precancerous polyps. If you get a positive you still need a colonoscopy. Just do the colonoscopy. They cut out polyps before they ever turn into cancer. And the prep really isn’t bad!

Mara gets treatments every other day, but sometimes she shows up on her ‘off days’—making cute noises or even banging the barn gate. The girls choose to come to treatment on their own. We rarely have to convince them. Read more: globalelephants.org/...
