Today is a paid day off at my job. But it's also the 1st, which is a mandatory work day for me. So i get paid for the holiday PLUS i get paid for the time I worked today? That is pretty sweet!!!

Smooth sailing into work, even got a decent parking spot. Took the one working elevator down and made it about half a block to the office when I realized I didn't have my badge. So turn around, walk all the way back, take the one elevator back up. So I'm on time instead of 30 minutes early
