After 2 YRS of appeals they relented. It was too late. Her cancer had metastasized. Chemo couldn't dent it. She died way too young. Why? Because it's 'rare' for Squamous to metastasize. The Anthem docs didn't see the need for an expensive test. Anyone think AI is going to be better? 2/3

Anthem killed my aunt. Sure there was some ignorant surgeon in there who couldn't tell the difference between MRSA and Squamous. But after the cancer was discovered Anthem refused a PET Scan, in spite of the fact that her PCP, her surgeon and her oncologist all said she needed one. 1/3

You have use the VA system and have them do referrals to departments that barely exist in order to get referred out into the community And I don't know about other places.. but there are no extra mental health practitioners in our community. I've been on waiting lists myself for over 5 years 2/4

This was brought up several times during the testimony to get rape added as an exemption to Louisiana's abortion law but no name was every used for obvious reasons. I suspect everyone is being triggered because of the 11 yo in Oklahoma that just went through this same thing. 2/2
