I'm the opposite. I quite enjoyed it. He is the one person in her whole life who can break down her barriers and she knows it. He is not your typical Vulcan but I think he suits her. She becomes the giggling young woman when around him but importantly she is still in charge of the outcomes.

Showmasters have got better over the years. I've been going to their events since LFCC2. Yes, there have been problems in the past and they were slow to address them but they have learned a lot and are improving. Also, Starfury Warp 1 is looking to be good!

Agreed. I get the feeling that some people just like to trash things. If they don't like it that's fine, but the comments I see are just plain nasty. Maybe it's an age thing. I don't know.
I remember the novels well. Section 31 IS out of place for Trip, no doubt. In my head they faked his death or used some alien device as a means of persuading him but in the end after one mission he told them where to go!
I like to think that it was Section 31 recruiting him for a mission and faking his death. Any historical document would have it that Trip died and that's why we got that holodeck version.
them how much it takes for a Vulcan to maintain control. I wonder if this will have repercussions later as it is dangerously close to permanent genetic enhancement and we all know how Starfleet feels about that! One major issue is the editing- it was too "bitty" for me and jumped around too much.
I'm glad that they clarified the fact that they used Spock, a fully-grown, trained (half) Vulcan as a basis for the serum but that logic and control does not come through a serum but through training as shown by the fact that parts of their human personality began to take over thus showing.... 2/3
Well, this will probably not be a popular opinion but I enjoyed 'Four and a Half Vulcans'. It was nowhere near perfect and the script could do with a bit of polishing but it was fun. Seeing the characters learn what Spock's life is like as a half-Vulcan was interesting to say the least. 1/3

Yes! There was a smell in the air and the breeze was of a temperature that made my skin feel very Autumnal. The low angled light, the occasional single falling leaf from a tree. As you say though, seems earlier this year, almost like its ready for a nap.

I have this great little app that helps identify colours. Problem is with lighting. I point at one area on the shirt and it gives me one shade of green. I point at another and I get a different shade!

One thing I love about Trek is that there is something for everyone. You don't like one iteration? Cool, here are another load to choose from! It's ok to like stuff that others don't and vice versa. No one should be treated differently because of what they enjoy or not.

I'd love to see more of Lashanna in the 007 role. That way the "James Bond" legacy is intact but the 007 name lives on. Personally, I'd leave him dead as it solves a lot of issues!
Another idea was to open it up to any male/male presenting actor as long as James stays British The last option I saw is to leave James Bond dead as he died in the last movie and press on with the 007 title who was played by Lashanna Lynch... 2/3
I have seen lots of ideas- the purists, especially the book purists, will always want a white, British actor or someone like George Lazenby who, though not British, could pull it off. That is no longer representative of the UK .... 1/3
They remind me of one race- Humans. Us right now. Aggressive governments pushing their borders forward with a high body count. Not willing to budge. That's the thing with Trek- everything is open to personal interpretation and civilised discussion.
Interesting as I interpret it differently. The Gorn in SNW are all about protecting their space but also seem intent on expanding their space as well as their race. They don't seem open to communication though they are quite clearly able as they messaged Starfleet.....
