Retired now, back in UK after time away, likes walking, baking, motorcycles and warm weather. Definitely left of centre, pro EU. Don't DM me a generic "Hi" or "Hello" and little else it makes me guess you're a bot, ditto 1/2 naked pictures.

If I did it no one cares but if you're a public figure and firmly in the public eye and under intense press scrutiny all the time then it shows a fair degree of stupidity not to make sure that 💯 of transactions are above board and free from criticism.

It does depend what's being classified as avoidance. An ISA or as pension has a tax avoidance element and for good reason. That's somewhat different to e.g. a nameplate company in another jurisdiction being used to funnel profits through.

The government were in a lose/lose scenario with this. Don't appeal or appeal and lose and have loads of similar challenges across the country. Appeal and win and the usual suspects are up in arms and ready to riot. This is all going to get messy.

They did elect that utter scumbag Neil Hamilton to the Senedd and vote for Brexshit. Got friends in North Wales and it's very definitely old school tory land. In fact that's the only time I've ever been into a conservative club.

In news that surprised no one with more than a single brain cell Reform Ltd are not a party of the common person but a means to further enrich their ultra wealthy backers. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOoR...

My brother gave me a couple of plants 2 months ago, just before we left on a long trip. Him & his GF bring on a dozen or so and hope a few survive. This year they all did so he needed shot. I got onecucumber before we left, my neighbour is watering them for me and obviously she gets to have any.

It seems utter madness to build a new runway at Heathrow. The infrastructure to get people to the airport can barely cope as it is. There's Farnborough just down the railway line and M3 which could handle short and medium haul as is with its 2500 metre runway.

I am waiting to see what my installer recommends. An alternative is a portable AC I've seen those for IRO of £300 say $375, they're a bit ugly in that there's an exhaust hose to put out of a window. My daughter had one and it's pretty effective at cooling a room.
