My existing district won’t change much if redistricting goes through. Phony Kim will end up more than likely face a primary battle against fellow MAGA extremist Ken Calvert. One of them will be out of a job soon.
I had a realization yesterday that if the redistricting here in California goes through, it’s going to shakeup my 2026 strategy, which will probably be a good thing. So I’ve kind of put the brakes on my local advocacy just until I know what the districts are going to look like next year.

Grief is weird. I was thinking about my maternal grandpa and suddenly I lost it. Mind you, he’s been gone for 41 years, but I still have memories of him. As a grief counselor once explained to me, in my grandpa’s case, it’s also the grief of missed opportunities along with the loss.

One of my close friends just texted me that he had a stroke. He says he’s ok just that he will need to be in rehab for a week. He doesn’t live in California anymore, so I can’t easily see him or help him out, but he’s been a close friend for close to 15 years. I’m pretty shaken up.

Unfortunately we have to wait until it’s over. 77 million people voted for this, aided by the 90 million people who didn’t vote at all. Trump voters, third party voters, and the “uncommitted” are all responsible for this.
