I lived through this with the 2020 wild fires here - the AQI busted off the upper end of the scale. It was awful. Also the weather forecasts were wrong because they didnāt account for the sun being unable to penetrate a thick layer of smoke. I imagine this is what Hades is like

Watching tugboats race might seem silly to some. As maritime historian Chuck Fowler says, "People always joke that a tugboat race is a contradiction in terms ā kind of like watching bulldozers race." But for tugboat fans it's a chance to celebrate shared love of these old workhorses.

Feelings are complicated. I bought these fabrics in 2020 for making masks for family members, as a change from all the floral prints I had in my fabric stash. Just came across them today. Can't throw them away, never want to see them again.
