The redistricting process is enshrined in the California Constitution, voters would have to approve any overhaul. A constitutional amendment would have to be approved by a two-thirds vote in both the Assembly and Senate. Voters first signed off on the creation of an independent commission in 2008.
I gladly voted in favor of an independent Redistricting commission, and we have Dem supermajorities in state senate and assembly.

Should unconscious people who were not informed or given the opportunity to consent beforehand be subject to invasive procedures? Especially their most personal bits.
