All private donations and funds for public elections must cease. No democracy is purely and fairly so if multi-billionaires get to use their wealth to influence votes; things like policy presentations should influence votes instead.

I often make cutting boards from leftover pieces, cutoffs, or assorted lumber that I try to make sure doesn't go to waste. Every once in a while, I make boards from all the same sized lumber. And it's amazing how much faster and easier that process is.

i do acknowledge the difference between killing someone and wishing death upon someone. i suppose i assess both here similarly, which might be a flawed outlook. 'one kills for they wish death, right...?' perhaps not necessarily. again, the people we speak of are causing a great deal of suffering.
put simply, i believe that refraining from putting an end to someone's life sanctifies the value of human life. however, i would be very open to the idea of shooting a murderer very clearly imminently about to take a human life, so perhaps this could be seen as a conflict in my ideas. i don't know.
i also acknowledge the idea that me being the furthest away i can be from any such cruelty and hatred may mandate its destruction. some are causing a great deal of hurt. however, wishing death upon anyone at all, i feel, directly conflicts with my fairly strong ideas surrounding capital punishment.
i do understand that the deaths of such individuals may very well improve the circumstances of many of us, including myself. however, they may rule with a hatred and a desire to hurt, and i don't want to risk becoming that, or becoming any closer to that, no matter how inadvertently or justifiably.
i understand, and i honestly genuinely appreciate this perspective you've shared. i refrain from wishing death upon any individual because this refrain makes me feel considerably less close to the likes of who we may discuss. of course, these people are causing a great deal of hurt being on Earth.
i'm largely abstaining on the front, but i do wonder if it might be quite telling how this seems to have caught on lol sure, any widespread rumour about the death of any us president might stir the pot a bit, but this seems to have spread with an... enthusiasm about it less 'pfft bet' and more '👀'

It's a catch all really. A lot of people in the field have shown their whole ass on display and basically dragging the entire field down around them. Keep on being cool about what you do to extoll the best of technology and how it can really help people, not just make imaginary numbers go up. 😉
