Everton have signed Freiburg midfielder Merlin Rohl on a season-long loan. He joins with a conditional obligation to make it a permanent move for €20million next summer. “The Everton fans are passionate and demand hard work and that’s what I like as it matches what I can bring,” Rohl said.

Seen some confusion about Adam Aznou after Sunday's game. He was initially listed as a substitute but felt something in the warm-up and was replaced by Eli Campbell. Said to be precautionary and nothing major at this stage. Participation tomorrow still TBC

leaves them a bit short in CM, for me - at least as it stands. garner seen as a midfielder first and foremost, but versatile enough to play elsewhere when needed. still think they need a natural RB
I think it's a logical link to make. Paqueta enjoyed his time under Moyes at West Ham and did well. But the info you see in the public domain from us is what we're comfortable reporting at this stage. If anything changes, we'll publish it
