Watched this yesterday. It was full of twists and turns that I could not believe who was behind the nasty texts. She was the lowest of the low, and I cannot believe the girl who was target still wants a relationship with this person. You will need a moment after watching this. Thumbs up. #MovieSky

I can't believe this is on Tubi. This is Hard Knox, a 1984 TV movie that was a pilot for a possible series that was never picked up. My dad loved it but it was really terrible when you look back at it. The writing is all over the place and some of it doesn't make sense. #TVSky #MovieSky

No, it is on hiatus until they can find a solution. And don't get me started on the whole WQED debacle of people think the station would be sold because of a "some people say" article. It just wrecks my head. I am sure some of them still think Prager U is replacing their PBS station.
People live in the dark and refuse to come into the light. Some of them don't read the articles about PBS they post. They just go by the headline. Lately, I have seen a lot of doomers post the article about American Experience and GBH letting go of the whole crew. So, they think the show is done.
That's the trend, dontcha know? Keep the initials, ditch the full name. A&E is not Arts & Entertainment, TLC is not The Learning Channel, IFC is not Independent Film Channel, AMC is not American Movie Classics, VH1 is not Video Hits One, and MTV is not Music Television. HBO is still Home Box Office.

I never had MTV when I was younger. I got my music video fix back then with syndicated shows like Top 40 Videos, This Week's Music, Hot, Music Magazine and America Rocks. But there was a reason why those shows were canceled after a few seasons. Ratings. Advertisers looked at Arbitron ratings
Was doing my usual PBS post scanning and, as usual, a lot of it falls into three categories: The "Let's get a billionaire to save PBS" poster, the doomsayer who thinks PBS will disappear and the ones who want PBS News Hour to be one sided rather than objective. UGH!!!!

Oh, man. My grandparents were on cloud nine when OETA got the reruns to run for PBS. They were able to watch Hee Haw (which was still in production) and Lawrence Welk back to back. That was their MTV!!!
PBS stations have actually been playing Lawrence Welk reruns since 1989-90 when OETA started distributing it to other PBS stations after they got the rights.

I remember WHYY having an all night Red Dwarf marathon on the weekend during pledge drive time in 1993. It was what I needed because I was sad that someone I liked was leaving for Idaho to go to college. It was what I needed.

And the thing is we are doing it with grace. We are not getting in people's faces and saying "Do it or else". That is not who we are or what we are about. I remember a month ago, someone was like, "I'll get PBS Passport, but I won't watch it because nothing interests me" (i'm paraphrasing).

Watched Rocky Balboa: The Ultimate Director's Cut. The added scenes were originally deleted scenes, but they add context to the film like how Rocky mentors Steps and Paulie's breakdown. An already great film has been made better. #FilmSky
