Kim Jong-Il hit 11 holes in one en route to his record 38-under in his only round of golf ever. Surely a club champion could hit at least 12.

It's a beautiful track to look at, and I am sure that it is quite fun to drive around. But the racing certainly isn't filled with great overtaking.

It's so awesome that one can say "he" and "his", and there is no doubt about who is being referred to. Unless he's unconscious, he's got to be *the worst* patient.

There are some pretty great commercial aerospace companies. In my position, I've had gotten to know some wonderful engineers at them. If you want to stay in the field, it should be possible. (I'm not including SpaceX in that list, because they don't talk to commercial software vendors.)

This movie is spectacular. It was even more perfect for me, as I had my son's watch it with me. And the younger is currently doing campaigns in his college game group. He kept exclaiming with joy about all of the details they got right.

Thinking about it, you could probably add "smelling like excrement". ๐ฉ
Patrick Keliher (@pakelihe.bsky.social) reply parent
It was probably "trying to grab a woman" in his case. He strikes me as a bottle baby. It's still perfect, as written. 10/10.

According to something I found, you can also export to PowerPoint and save the images from there. Which seems like an incredibly egregious oversight from Microsoft. Which should surprise no one. I'd use the snipping tool personally, as that's pretty easy to use.

So great. Though as a young man who enjoyed many a Stroh's Beer in my mis-spent youth, it's weird not seeing the 's. "Stroh!" is a better Batman sound effect, so I can't complain. Though a little weird, I got over it. Sad that I've drunk all of these. Too much of all of these.

Edward Kennedy had a brain tumor and Robert Byrd was in the hospital most of the time. They had 58 potential votes, mostly. That's not rewriting history. That's accurately telling history. It took until late December to get the 60 votes to pass Obamacare. And a lot of wrangling.
Patrick Keliher (@pakelihe.bsky.social) reply parent
Unable to be passed because of the senate made-up rule of needing 60 votes to do anything because of the filibuster. Which the GOP usually ignores. And even if passed, the Supreme Court would overturn any legislation, because SCOTUS has been majority-conservative since 1969.

Not "defend himself against a teenager". That implies the teenager started it. He can't stop from harassing teenagers as a grown man, and couldn't handle the consequences of them defending themselves. In a stand your ground state, he could have been legally shot in self defense.

Probably because I've worked at a hospital, but my normally dad-joke-making self behaves itself around medical types. My go-to line is typically, "I'll shut up and let you work", or equivalent. Younger son had an operation, and I said that line a lot when I stayed with him.
