My point is that it’s counterproductive for us to hate on our Dem leadership because they aren’t doing anything - we need to accept the fact that there’s nothing they can do until we’re able to elect a LOT more of them. And as long as Trump is alive, we can forget about getting help from the GOP.

Unfortunately, no. The only way to remove a member of congress is to vote them out of office, and the only way to remove a cabinet member is to impeach them. The latter can only happen if we are able to do the former in a really big way.
But there’s something wrong with everyone in his cabinet too.

Yes, I’ve watched all the movies and read all the books - you don’t need to have time in the military to know how it has worked out in the past. I agree it could all go horribly wrong, but I believe we stand a better chance of a good outcome that way than we do sitting back and watching Trump.
Personally, I wouldn’t object to us being no better than Trump, for just as long as it takes to get him in prison. But that’s just me.

Power comes from having a majority in the House and a supermajority in the Senate, and we don’t have that now. Until 2026, the people have no power. I know it makes you feel special to pretend we do and to lecture others about it, but it’s simply not true.
Pressure can’t change election results. The GOP has the majority in both houses, and they all know that they can’t vote against Trump. There is proof of that in their voting records. They all got a ton of pressure on several occasions since November and they all ignored it.
