I completely agree.

No, not really. In Stone Soup, the villagers believed the traveler could make soup from a stone. It was only when they began contributing did the “miracle” soup come to be. Same scam as religion. Pray all you like, but you only get what you work toward. Faith without works…

Keep those photos and look at them again in six months or a year. You'll be amazed by how much you've improved. Love the message - keep it up!

you really couldn't make many movies from 40-50 years ago today. this is due to the unavailability of certain discontinued film stocks and the deaths of many principal actors, directors, and other various crew members

I have these too, along with the complete "Log" series based on the animated show.

In the middle of a reread right now. Finishing up 10, and after the numbered ones comes "Spock Must Die!" and "Mudd's Angels." Then, bundled up and off to Goodwill so someone else can enjoy them.

I’ve now outlived Elvis and Jim Henson, and in two weeks Walt Disney. Hell, Obama is a year or two *younger* than me. But I love the life I’ve led, rough patches and all. Wouldn’t trade it for a heart attack on a toilet, or from sepsis (had a close call on that one), or lung cancer.
