Eclipse, Scamper, and Twinkle Toes are indoor cats that are also harness trained, so they do go outside on occasion for supervised jaunts. As my vet saysā¦thereās no such thing as an outdoor cat, just prey! Wild turkeys in my neighbourhood have learned from the feral TNR colony to attack swiftly.

I feel like Casttiās story resonated with me a ton because as someone with a chronic degenerative illness, I donāt see *myself* in many stories of healing. Itās so jarring and unrealistic when the only ācorrectā ending to a story is recovery. Everyone magically gets better! Except me!

I have also been instructed to wear shoes indoors, and have special inserts for them. I have a specific pair of shoes for that purpose; they never go outdoors. Theyāre also cleaned regularly. Wearing outside shoes inside the house is almost exclusively an American thing, and so, so nasty.
Proof of adult vaccination was required when I immigrated, so I just re-upped MMR/TDAP cuz it was cheaper, faster, and safe XD
If your original MMR shot was pre-2000 you need an adult booster. This is common in Canada, but less so in America? Two (min 1 month apart) used to be recommended if you were working with populations likely to carry measles especially. Since you work with kiddos thatās you :>

Growing up in Canada, I knew many couples with separate beds, sometimes even completely separate bedrooms. My parents sometimes slept together, sometimes not, especially when brother & me were small. When Iād visit snowbird relatives in Florida, Americans always seemed so shocked by this!

Watching everyone reschedule their release date because Silksong is wild to someone who canāt play it. I get it. Iām just also a little bummed. October and November are already unbelievably stacked for RPGs. Some stuff we wouldāve covered @rpgamer.com will not get much space now. I hate that.
My husband has a diminutive that is neutral; once we changed it to his full name, we stopped having this nonsense. Thereās also a sharp uptick in the number of drivers with a womanās name/photo actually being a solo man. We report those.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing through @somethingclassic.bsky.social's Quartet, it's got a very interesting story and the gameplay balance keeps everything ticking along excellently.
I was raised in part by my motherās parents; if it was low stakes requests like āMom says I canāt have another slice of cheese so I asked Nan and Granddad for some of their cheeseā they werenāt gonna say no. Grandmaās post feels more like high-stakes noās surrounding important socialization. Yikes.

Eventually everyone involved (including me) decided the platform just wasnāt seeing a return on time invested and the account was completely nuked. I only ever ran one Tumblr account, which was for an entirely family friendly brand, and the NSFW ban hit it HARD. I used to run a big fanart contest almost every year. When the NSFW rules came down, every 2-3 days for the first few months Iād get an email saying a photo had been flagged.

Masked at PAX 2023, was even around someone who tested super positive the next day (completely asymptomatic, they felt very bad), got mocked a few times; came home, wasnāt sick. Not even a sniffle. Masks work. As someone who caught PAX Plague (swine flu) back in 2009, it was a very nice change!

Just been something on my mind as Iām hitting new goals at the gym. Iām down 20lbs since the start of June and I finally hit 60lbs on my bench press, which is awesome considering when I started last May I couldnāt bench press *anything* safely. I was using 2lbs hand weights š¹ 100lbs goal for 2026?
This is how a more typical āworkoutā or basketball style tank hits me. Problem is probably pretty evident? I donāt care about my scars, but I also donāt feel the need to flash them constantly either. I flush when I work out all across my torso, and they stand out like WHOA.
Iām kind of sad woot seems to have totally given up on tank tops. I got this one a few years back and absolutely love it; very few places seem to offer close-fitting unisex tanks and theyāre my preference. Iād love to get half a dozen more for sleeping and exercising. Becauseā¦
