Just learned about Thimbleberries last Saturday. They were growing along the banks of the Siskiwit River, where it empties into Lake Superior.

There were some berries. I took this photo to use for the AI search, because I didn’t know what it was. I live 75-100 miles south of the lake, and they aren’t around here… not that I’ve seen.

I miss thimbleberries!! And cloudberries. Anchorage has many wonderful berries at but I’ve not found those two berries.
