Usually sucks & I disagree with it, but I can't make it go away. Believe me, if I had that power, i would be using it aaaaaall the time!

I have this conversation (or a variation of it) constantly. "Why can't you just make the DA dismiss my case?" "Because if I had that power, I would be the greatest public defender on the planet. Also, I wouldn't be a defense attorney, because we don't have that power."
