I miss conventions so much, but they’ll literally kill me now, so… Sucks that there’s basically no replacement for that networking or personal connection

It’s been so painful to watch how people who were willing to make things more inclusive for a couple of years were so quick to abandon folks at the earliest opportunity.

I hear you. I just lost a dear friend who loved conventions, but was immunocompromised and simply couldn’t risk it. Too many jerks who think coughing in the face of someone wearing a mask is funny.
