Yeah unfortunately this photo doesn't capture any of the interesting parts. It was on the third floor of the mall but it was the only thing on that floor, so it occupied a half crescent overlooking the giant open space below, it looking all the way down to the first floor,
It was connected to the JCPenny AND ONLY the JCPenny 😩
I do understand the only photo you have isn't doing it justice. It sounds a lot like Roselands Shopping Centre in Beverley Hills. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roselan... It had some crazy stuff with mezzanines & airshafts back in the 90s that seems to have been changed more recently, can't see them now.
and the escalator going up to it cut directly through the center of the open air in the middle. Hard to describe which is why I wish there were photos of it lol
