I rarely leave Steam reviews as I usually feel I've said enough on stream and social media so my community of #horror lovers know my stance on a game. But occasionally I come across a game that leaves such an impact, I need to tell EVERYONE. Heartworm by @adinolfi.bsky.social is one of those games!

Been playing some HEARTWORM by @adinolfi.bsky.social and I can confirm, camera flashes as a light source in creepy enclosed spaces is very cool and terrifying. The camera flash "squeeee!" is perfect. I know there are lots of games to play, but don't skip on this one!

Mac support was something I was interested in very early on, but I have no way to support it currently so it isn't planned, sorry about that.

I play on my deck for testing all the time and it runs wells. It is possible that some cutscenes dip but with some deck settings tweaks it should run great. Unfortunately we have to wait for Valve to give an official deck compatibility rating.

It's hard to know how I feel right now, but ahead of Heartworm's release tomorrow I wanted to say I really hope you all can appreciate it for what it is. We did our best and learned a lot. It was never trying to live up to the classics but hopefully pay a respectable homage.

Yeah unfortunately this photo doesn't capture any of the interesting parts. It was on the third floor of the mall but it was the only thing on that floor, so it occupied a half crescent overlooking the giant open space below, it looking all the way down to the first floor,
