Glad I saw this in my feed! Playing the demo now. Happy to see that it plays fine on the steam deck so far. This looks like quite a love letter to classic survival horror, with obvious reference points, plus cool evolutions on the style!

In all seriousness, super psyched to hear! I highly recommend to anyone in it for the classic Survival Horror experience to download and install reshade with the 'crt-royale' and RSretroarch repositories to craft an appropriately antiquated emulation of the old days for the game.

I play on my deck for testing all the time and it runs wells. It is possible that some cutscenes dip but with some deck settings tweaks it should run great. Unfortunately we have to wait for Valve to give an official deck compatibility rating.

I played a bit of the demo (on my slow laptop, will play properly on my PC) and from what I’ve seen thus far this project is awesome; the art style is fantastic and matches the nostalgic retro vibe perfectly, the camera stuff is creative and the atmosphere is honestly quite spooky! 👏😍🫶

thank you! I would play with the scaling/half rate shading stuff, I can try to get my exact config when i have some downtime, but it should work pretty well out of the box

Really really want to play/have been looking forward to it! - the demo had a mac version but the release version seems to be windows only, are there any plans to change that?
Mac support was something I was interested in very early on, but I have no way to support it currently so it isn't planned, sorry about that.
