I close the book and ponder how the story I'm reading is trying to sell me a harmful world view and its only argument is its own outlandish fictional setting. See, anyone is always gonna be right when they get to make the facts up as they go.

This is ice logic "You shouldn't be able to patrol private spaces, spy on and arrest people willy nilly" "But who's gonna stop the dog eating, child raping, riot starting, gang member immigrants?" A fictional argument to justify a handout of power to an entity that doesn't wanna be held accountable.
