Don't buy products in plastic. Buy things in glass, cardboard or aluminum. I used to buy ice tea and drinks in plastic. Now I buy concentrate in cardboard/metal containers and mix it up at home. I also make ice tea the old fashioned way. Milk comes in cardboard too.
It's so little that milk cartons are still recycled along side regular paper but the "wax" that seems to keep the paper together and the milk on the inside is actually, polyethylene plastic which sadly, breaks down into microplastics that get into our entire bodies.
Dang. That's too bad.
I wonder which is worse, plastic containers or cardboard lined with plastic? A shame they can't use wax.
