Thanks, Sam. And yes, it is washi tape. Ted ordered some for me about a month ago & I've been experimenting with it. Ted is reading as I type. He says, correction: decorating everything with it 😂

I even used a bit of dark washi tape to see if I wanted to add the dark figures while watercolor was in progress:
