I know his other crimes are much worse but this tasteless vandalism of the White House by Donald Trump is obscene.

Before and after photo comparison of how Trump has gilded every single edge of the historic plaster moulding of the walls, doors and ceiling in this White House room (Oval Office?) and added Temu shiny tat additional features.

btw the Swedish Ivy that used to be on the mantelpiece was a 1961 gift to JFK from Irish ambassador Thomas Kiernan. Ever since it has been a consistent backdrop to some of the most famous White House meetings - until Trump replaced it with his golden golf trophies. Where did it go? @motherjones.com
