That was my guess, but wanted to be sure! Also, you’ve lived in Yellowknife? Born and raised here 😄

Aw perhaps we were in the same space sometime! I spent a good amount of time at the Ruth Inch Pool, JH Sissons Elementary and the ice surface - my littles were 3 and 5 when we arrived in 91! Lived in Federal Housing in Rycon Drive! Oh the memories 🤍

There’s definitely a good chance, though I was about 10-14 during those years. Went from N J McPherson elementary, to William Mac, to Sir John. Spent a lot of time at the pool, plus Folk on the Rocks, Raven Mad Daze, NACC, the City Centre mall… always great to meet someone who lived there!

Awww, that’s so good to read! The kids loved Raven Mad Daze - me too!and Folk on the Rocks. So fun to read all these places. I worked upstairs at City Centre part time at Arctic College - was that the name back then? So long ago now. We were there as the kid’s father was RCMP. I think of YK often!
