☝🏼 OMG, so much this. Like it's also annoying to other readers who like the content when some rando comes in to shit all over the property and it's clear they haven't read it, understood it or engaged in good faith.

Yes, like as a reader, too, it's frustrating because the louder these people are, the more writers you have trying to factor this feedback in, as if they need to repeat points in books for stuff already clear (at least until they snap) and it's a risk of dumbing down books in general.
