Alberta announced today the COVID-19 vaccine this fall will cost us $100 per dose. So for my family of four, that'll be $400. Alternatively, we could spend $400 on an overnight trip to Golden or Fernie, B.C., get immunized for free, and make a little mountain vacation out of it.

All those people whining about how this wasn't the right time and but what about my convenience: Air Canada didn't lift a finger to negotiate. They ran out the clock and sat on their asses knowing the government would order back to work. Flight attendants said NO. AC made a real offer in >24 hrs.
