Thank you for including me, Pete! 💙💚💙 (Just a reminder that there’s a wonderful app called Goods Unite Us that tracks the political donations from companies, brands, and organizations. It acts as a wonderful compass for your dollars to find deserving recipients. I use it all the time.)

Screenshot of the Goods Unite Us app from the App Store. Screenshot of the Goods Unite Us app’s company/brand list. Aldi scores high in the Goods Unite Us app. “Does not donate significant amounts to politicians or PACs” Target does NOT score so well in the Goods Unite Us app, with high levels of campaign contributions and a vast majority of the app’s users calling to boycott rather than support the company. Likely due to Target’s roll over who’s a good boy bowing to this fascist administration’s desire to remove any diversity and acceptance from their shelves and policies.

Oh, and from the app’s description:

Americans inadvertently donate 3X more to politicians and PACs through their purchases than they donate on purpose. Let's change that! Goods Unite Us is a women-led, Madison-Wisconsin based company with a well-established track-record of providing accurate data. Enter a company or brand name. And we'll tell you what we know about the political donations made by the organization and its senior employees. Corporations earn profits off of your everyday purchases, and some of those profits are donated to politicians and causes you might not agree with. Most of us are unaware of this because that information hasn't been readily available. Until now. Last, but certainly not least, we recently added a Politicians feature. This allows you to easily look up your favorite politician and instantly see the companies that support him or her!
