It's a good thing nothing is going on in the world that might require the attention of the president of the United States, otherwise he might not have time to supervise the contractors.

Only a truly experienced, knowledgeable, and gifted builder would “happen to notice” a 25 yard gash.

In fairness, Trump really is the world's #1 authority on stiffing contractors

I'd say that a distracted Trump is a good thing except that the people below him are deliberately evil. Trump's evil is more random--he is hateful, awful, resentful, but he is inconsistent, lazy, incurious.

"Surfaces" are right! Yes ago after he crashed the Atlantic City casino and bankrupted contractors, they tried to sell it for parts, and soon discovered all the "marble" and "gold" and other "luxury" surfaces and furnishings were all fake and cheap and already falling apart. Like Trump.

Are you telling us Pres. Levy would *not* spend an inordinate amount of time on speech passages and other parts of the job that touched on political philosophy?

Trump's attention can only make any situation worse so maybe it's for the best that he's distracted by White House renovations as much as possible

[omitted: off-color joke about how long the "gash" actually was and Trump's tendency to exaggerate the size of things.]

Everyone replying that this doesn't sound like he wrote it himself is right. But what does it say that his aides think he'll be A-OK with this story about him wandering around the grounds yelling?

yes, this yelling thing is off. many of his posts ( and almost all of the long ones) are drafted by aides but he usually approves them. would he approve himself being described as yelling???

Possible it got an editing pass but I dunno, I think it pretty much sounds like him and certainly the decision to do a post about it was his.

I think it expresses his intent somehow, maybe dictated and cleaned up, but I just don’t think his brain works well enough anymore to produce English prose at this (admittedly low) level

Probably Lymestone, a manufactured product. Probably a poor but cheaper choice - you know, like typical Trump knockoffs.

Yes. Maybe slightly fewer grammatical irregularities than usual? I could see this being one of the few things he cares about and thinks he knows more about than his usual nothing, that could explain it being 2/10 on coherence instead of 0/10. In any event, it looks like a damn parking lot now.

We talk about staffer ghostwriting vs. his own writing but I think there's a lot of overlap in the middle where he barks at somebody to draft a post about something they wouldn't do on their own initiative.
