My unpopular Chinese food opinion is that egg rolls taste better when they’re cold. Try it.

Similar for Big Macs. Great when they're fresh and hot or cold from the fridge. Anywhere in between, they're just ok. Yes..a cold Big Mac is pretty good but the bun isn't as soft any longer.
Can't say I've ever tried a Big Mac cold, but now I'm curious.
The special sauce (Thousand island haha) seems better cold. Being ♿and living alone, I tend to order delivery for 2-3 meals to save time/money. I put a Big Mac in the fridge for later. :)
I won't disagree with you at all. I have similar feelings about chicken balls and red sauce.
Chicken balls...!?
I have a friend who swears all Chinese food tastes better after reaching tepid room temperature. Maybe I’ll give that a try someday.
I think there’s something to that. The sauces, most of which contain Accent and cornstarch, start to thicken and congeal without heat. It’s like a more concentrated MSG bomb.
Pure fiction? PerFECTION, I say.
I enjoy cold Chinese leftovers
you're correct.
Chinese is the one food that tastes better via delivery than eating fresh in the restaurant
You clearly haven't been to Lee's Hunan of Aberdeen, Maryland.
Have not and Im sure it's amazing. I'm just referring to how time in the backseat of a car just really congeals everything to its highest potential
From what I've seen about egg rolls living in Australia, I think we may call them Chiko Rolls (Or if not they're close enough). And the only way they're enjoyed cold is when you're hungover.
This is factual, esp if you are what we in the biz call a "dissector"
✨When that extra little flap of fried greasy wonton wrapping comes off by itself... ✨
It's like playing Operation.
Especially if there are tiny shrimp involved.
oh no, i hit cabbage
