So how long do they last? Here it's like a month in June, maybe part of July.

Ours start blooming in July and last through end of September usually.

We also have two hot pink crepe Myrtles down by the pool, you can kinda see them in this pic.

Hmmm, not sure if the blooms will make it to end of Sept this year, lots of green already. We have two out front, one on each side of the house.

Also you can tell the left side gets more sun.

It's the opposite here, the ones with more sun lose their flowers faster.
