and the software really does take over. if you run homebrew more often than not things like “going to sleep when the lid is closed” don’t work because the game has to have code built-in to handle that. that is a job for the OS nowadays.

it’s not even capable of installing anything. it doesn’t have cloud-synced user profiles. no app store. no updates. it just does a thing and does it well i miss that
