Walker was an awful governor. He set WI back decades. But he TRIED to stop Trump. In 2015 Walker was one of the first republican contenders to drop out so voters could consolidate behind a republican other than Trump.

Walker and the WI GOP rigged the laws, requiring different documents for voter registration and those needed for actually voting, meaning one could officially register at a state building, only to be turned away at the polls. An action specifically taken to prevent students from casting ballots.

I registered at the state building in Madison a few weeks prior to election, only to be denied my right to vote minutes later by the woman who registered me! To her credit, I'm certain she knew of the discrepancies and convinced me to vote, in order to allow me time to amend my documents.
