They got their Brexit too, eh? Blowback and all that jazz.
You have the FT very wrong. It was anti-Brexit and is anti-Trump, just like you it would seem. I think you'll enjoy this (and Edward Luce's writing more broadly). Trump is halfway to making America a police state - on.ft.com/45YuPwb via @FT
Interesting. I appreciate the feedback back and will have a look. Thank you.
You believe the FT supported Brexit? You're massively wrong there.
A huge amount of 'making up a paper to be mad at' there. Neil and Will for example think that we use 'immigrant' to indicate it is bad an 'expat' for good. I consistently argue against restrictionism and I always use the word 'immigrant', cf:
Ditto here, the word 'expat' is wholly absent. Just v odd.
I think people who've never read the FT assume that, because it has the word 'Financial' in the title, its editorial line is going to be far right somehow. Because money paper has money people and money people are bad people.
But like, do they forget what side bussiness was on during brexit?
A lot of people’s idea of what “business” is the CEO of Redundancies, Inc, I think.
Looking at the guy's profile (staunchly anti Trump (👍)), I'm going to use one of my gift links to send him some Edward Luce. *Angry* Luce.
They do. Money bad, see. They probably also believe that weird conspiracy about the whole Brexit thing being to avoid EU tax transparency laws. Despite George Osborne introducing that. Ahead of the EU implementation.
Thank you. Corrections always appreciated.
