Living in DC in my early 20s, I'd stop at a Viet restaurant on the way home from the bars and have a Bánh Xèo and a beer. I'd been eating them for about 15 years before I discovered that people ate Bánh Xèo in the daytime, too.

The Bánh Khọt was incredible! And I also loved the Gỏi Ngó Sen Tôm Thịt…so fresh and flavorful.
