I'd seen PTSD before, in my dad, who fought in Korea and early Vietnam, but I didn't register the similarities right away. Worse, I think, because Katrina's effects were so widespread and personal.

I'm gonna leave this alone, and hope that those affected who I know (and those I've connected with here) find strength and peace, and a healthy way forward.
