PA, NJ, and NY residents said they prefer American (35%) and provolone cheese (34%) over Cheez Whiz (15%). PA residents (37%) prefer provolone on their cheesesteaks, but New Jersey (44%) and New York (35%) residents said American cheese is the way to go.
