Nope. We did not. That’s a myth. They did like our Jim Crow laws, but they were born out of their own Volkisch movement after WW1 and old antisemitic prejudices that date back centuries.

of course the Volkisch movement was inherently a racist movement, but its hardly anything unique amidst other "romantic" nationalist movements of the era. I'm saying you'd be gravely mistaken if you think the American eugenics and scientific racism movement wasn't a massive source of inspiration.
