LA & DC haven't been the same. Donald has found it difficult to sprawl his police state in LA & California. DC doesn't have the protection of being a state. So Bondi is trying out the vast overreach in DC. Chicago has protections like LA under the 10th Amendment & under the Posse Comitatus Act.

LA didn't have roving military police patrols to crack down on crime. They did not do police work. DC is not a state and comparisons to it are pointless. It is owned by the feds.
