If we have the misfortune of being stuck with gavin at the next pres election, he would simply be benefiting from my vote against what ever deranged ghoul the GOP is trying to force on us next. But it wouldn't be a vote 'FOR' him.

I'd like to hope someday I'd get to actually feel like I voted for someone, instead of only ever feeling like I'm voting against someone since I been of voting age since Obama vs Romney.

A fascist? How do you defend that claim. He’s a political opportunist, which is a misdemeanor compared to fascism.

If a politician collaborates with fascists, he is indistinguishable from a fascist. Newsom has proven he's on Israel's side as they massacre Palestinians and is happy to persecute transpeople and the homeless. Whether he's into palingenetic ultranationalism remains to be seen.
