In his reelection campaign launch, Mayor Eric Adams attacks Mamdani for offering free resources to New Yorkers, insisting "there's no dignity in handouts." I am very skeptical that conservative rhetoric will be convincing to the overwhelmingly Democratic voter base in NYC.

Sure there's no dignity in handouts. But dignity and a harder life is worth the harder life. And I'm saying this from the perspective of having $800 in various forms of government issued vouchers shovelled into my pockets since December for local businesses and greener appliances.

That's not even the point. Free resources have to be paid with tax increases on corps & wealthy NYers as Mamdani campaigned on. But Mamdani has ZERO influence on taxes-that's Albany's jurisdiction & Hochul will NOT agree or she loses the suburbs in '26. So...how do these programs get implemented??
