I just had to nope a podcast with Jon Lovett when they started crying "oh why won't voters believe us that democracy is on the line and only the Democrats can save them?" Are these people really that dense? That Lansing/Collins lovefest might be (just one) clue for their empty clue bag.

No actual news here. The fundraiser isn't for 5 weeks and Lansing threw one for Susan Collins last cycle too (in addition to two others Collins held in Beverly Hills). The story was clearly planted by Collins team to distract from Platner's launch. NYT apparently happy to run the errand for her.
