when people are discussing the death of brick-and-mortar i will share the anecdote of how i twice recently went to a locally-famous music store to buy a piano and both times left drenched in sweat from the poor AC in the piano section without a word or even eye contact from staff...buying it online
occurred to me just now: i did get to personally try out various pianos while i awaited in vain for sales support, which is something i cannot do online, i guess i need this store to stick around for next time i need to try out pianos/guitars
