Here’s what I think about male cheerleaders in the NFL: in 1989 I was one of the first cheer directors & choreographers to cast male cheerleaders when I was with the Atlanta Falcons. And proud of it. This photo is from our holiday GAMEDAY program. I’m on the bottom far right with my entire squad.
My high school, Washburn HS in Minneapolis, was the first in the state with male cheerleaders - in 1968. They were fellow students who happened to be athletic AF.
