Overpay. That is always a good move. Even if you pay a little extra each month the ask for the overpayment to go off the capital. That way you can take years off the mortgage. We did it and it worked for us. (I’m not qualified!lol)

I made an amortization schedule spreadsheet for my loan. Something that motivated me was adding a formula to calculate how many months I'd knock off the end of the loan by paying some extra amount towards the principal. It adds up so quickly!
